Tony Cuffe – Sae Will We Yet

This album (Tony Cuffe – Sae a Will We Yet) arrived in the post this morning, & has been the soundtrack to my commute to work today. Best known as guitarist & singer of seminal Scottish folk group Ossian, Tony Cuffe was also a member of Alba & Jock Tamson’s Bairns, and spent the latter part of his life living in the USA & performing solo. He died tragically young (47) in 2001, & this album collects various recordings, live performances, & a partly completed solo album. It’s gorgeous, & required listening for anyone with an interest in traditional & contemporary Scottish folk music!!
